Rules

Anyone who is Indian by birth and is having a passion for photography, believes in the core values of India and its constitution. There is no age bar, no gender biasness, from anywhere in India and Abroad, no limits to castes, creeds and sections of Indian society, literate or not.
You need to register at Register Now and to make your profile, read the terms and conditions, and start submitting the entries.
One profile can submit upto 20 entries maximum.
Photograph should not have logo, name, date and any other information on it, else the photograph would be rejected.
Please ensure not to upload duplicate photographs else the same would be rejected.
The organisers have rights to reject the entries if the entry is not justifying the core idea of the contest, photographs which are not technically fit.
A photograph should be of 5 MB in size, JPG or TIFF format, the photograph should be taken by the photographer should own the RAW files of each entry. Incase at any level the organisers find any issues the entry will be rejected even before, during or after the photography contest.
LEVEL 1
First level the scrutiny would be done by Jury 1 consisting of mentors and lecturers of art fields from various prominent institutes. This jury will select 1000 photographs from thousands of participants.
LEVEL 2
The second segment Jury will consist of Journalists, professors and members of civil society who will be selecting 200 photographs considering aesthetical value, message and story, connected with the core idea of the contest.
LEVEL 3
Finally, the third Jury would consist of veteran photographers, painters, curators, prominent journalists, heads of photography associations, prominent personalities heading museums or galleries.

After the submission of photographs the organisers have the right to display, promote and advertise the photographs in the interest of promoting the contest, participants and any purpose related to it on any respectable social media or media publications. However the copyright will still be held by the artist/photographer all the time. Under no circumstances anyone can file a legal case on the organisers, promoters, the institutions and organisations involved as the contest is organised to promote the soul of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and without any commercial gains, sales or fee for this contest.
The emblem of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is a campaign as mentioned above and is an Intellectual Property of Government of India. No way it should be related to the ownership of the organising institution's property, however all the associate members and organisations are proud to associate with them and contribute with their knowledge and support.
By organising this contest the beneficiaries the campaign "Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsav", Government of India and the Ministries organising the contest, the participants, the audience, the people of India and the organisers of this contest.
IIP Academy, a renowned photography institution in India and overseas, pioneers in Asia for Online Photography Courses started in 2010, certified over 25000 ardent photography enthusiasts till now, having collaborations and associations with THE President of India office, various ministries of center and states & parliament house, ICCR, embassies, corporate houses, universities and institutions like IITs, IIMs, BITS, colleges and prominent schools, social organisations, political parties, cultural entities whom IIP provides photography knowledge and various photography solutions. Recently, IIP Academy collaborated with Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design (UPID) Lucknow, and started the Department of Photography.
